FLOTATION DEVICES AND OTHER POOL TOYS/EQUIPMENT
The head/lead lifeguard on duty will make the decision regarding whether there are too many swimmers in the pool to allow the use of certain toys/flotation devices/water guns/mermaid fins/inner tubes etc. to maintain safe surveillance of all patrons in the water and prevent injury for all persons in and out of the water. Non-swimmers are not allowed to use mermaid fins unless accompanied by a parent in the water or a responsible adult. Lifeguards may use their discretion when making the decision to have all previously listed pool equipment removed from the water at that time. All guards on duty may discuss their level of comfort with said equipment based on occupancy levels.
